Weekly Mowing and Weeding Services

At Ricci’s Landscape Management, we provide weekly lawn mowing and weeding services in the Northwest Indiana area. Our professionally trained lawn technicians will visit each week, weather permitting, to mow the lawn as needed. They will evaluate the condition of your lawn to determine what course of action they need to take. 

Each visit, we carefully assess the condition of your grass, looking at the fertilization techniques, season, sun and environmental exposure, grass type and other factors that affect the type of care required for your lawn. To ensure a healthy lawn, our technicians mow with sharpened blades that are changed weekly, rotate mowing patterns, remove no more than 1/3 of the grass blade per visit, and blow/bag any excess grass clippings. They will also make sure to power edge around all sidewalks, patios, driveways, and curbs as needed and perform fine trimming around the perimeter of your home, posts, trees, etc. 

In addition to the mowing service, RLM can provide weekly weeding services if requested. 

* This is a per-man hour charge unless other arrangements have been made.

Spring and Fall Cleanup Services

Whether in the Spring or Fall, your yard and landscape need to be cleaned up and prepped for what’s next. RLM provides both Spring and Fall Cleanup services for your yard and landscape. 

In the Spring, our crews will cut back perennials and certain deciduous shrubs, pick up any leaves or sticks leftover from the fall and winter throughout the landscape and turf, and apply granular fertilizer to your plants to promote growth. If additional instructions are needed, our office is happy to relay any information for the crews. *Typically done between March and June, weather permitting.

In the Fall, our crews will remove any leaves, sticks, and debris from the landscape and turf areas, cut back certain grasses unless other arrangements are made, and remove any annual flowers that have completed their cycle. *Typically done between October and November, weather permitting.

Mulch Services

In addition to our cleanup services, we offer mulch re-installation services. This will help you spruce up your current mulch with our premium organic hardwood shredded chocolate brown mulch. Our crew will put down weed preventative and create a nice, clean bed edge before laying any mulch. When applied appropriately, this protective layer will help keep your plants safe from erosion, conserve moisture, and improve root growth. 

Adding the mulching service to your cleanup will give your landscape that finished looked that ties it all together, making it look brand new. *Performed in conjunction with a Spring or Fall Cleanup. RLM does not provide mulching services without a cleanup service.

Pruning Services

Ricci Landscape Management provides a summer Pruning service to help maintain and spruce up your landscape. Our technicians will prune hedges, groundcover, small ornamental trees, shrubs and trees less than 12’ according to the species. They will also perform selective hand pruning and shearing in order to complete the necessary rejuvenation pruning needed for certain plants. If any additional instructions are needed, our office is happy to discuss any requests and relay information to the crews. 

Annual Spring and Fall Color Programs

Annual flowers provide your landscape with an abundance of color throughout the changing of the seasons, enhances the curb appeal, and increases the value of your property. Ricci’s Landscape Management has maintained great working relationships with the best nurseries in the area and we ensure that only the most visually appealing and highest quality flowers are installed on your property.

When you sign up for our Annual Color Program, you have the option to choose any color or number of: Petunias, Geraniums, Begonias, Mums, and other various flowers upon request.

Once we have received your Annuals order, our seasoned professionals will help design a layout that is specifically customized to your property’s landscape and prepare existing flowerbeds.

An Annual color display from Ricci’s Landscape will make a statement about your property and attract the attention of anyone who visits your home or business. *It is the client’s responsibility to maintain watering/fertilization throughout the season.
