Weekly Mowing and Weeding Services

You can depend on Ricci’s Landscape Management for weeding and lawn mowing services in the Northwest Indiana area. Our trained lawn care technicians can visit weekly, weather permitting, to assess your lawn’s overall condition and mow it as needed.

During each visit, we carefully assess the condition of your grass, considering important things like fertilization practices, season, sun, environmental exposure, grass type, and other factors affecting the type of care required for your lawn. To encourage stronger growth, we follow proven lawn care practices like mowing with sharp blades that are changed weekly, rotating mowing patterns, removing no more than one-third of the grass blade per cut, and blowing or bagging any extra clippings. 

If requested, we can also provide weekly weeding services in addition to mowing. 

Spring and Fall Cleanup Services

Whether in the spring or fall, your yard and landscape need to be cleaned up and prepped for what’s next. Ricci’s Landscape Management provides spring and fall cleanup services for your yard and landscape. 

In the spring, our crews will cut back perennials and certain deciduous shrubs, pick up any leaves or sticks leftover from the fall and winter throughout the landscape and turf, and apply granular fertilizer to your plants to promote growth. If additional instructions are needed, our office is happy to relay any information to the crews. Our spring cleanup services are typically done between March and June, weather permitting.

In the fall, our crews will remove any leaves, sticks, and debris from the landscape and turf areas, cut back certain grasses unless other arrangements are made, and remove any annual flowers that have completed their cycle. Fall cleanup is typically done between October and November, weather permitting.

Mulch Services

We also provide mulch reinstallation services to refresh and enhance your landscape. Our specialists use premium organic hardwood shredded chocolate brown mulch for a polished, professional finish. Before applying the mulch, we put down a weed preventer and cut a crisp bed edge to ensure lasting results.

Adding the mulching service to your cleanup will give your landscape that finished appearance that ties it all together, making it look brand new. Mulch services are performed only in conjunction with a spring or fall cleanup. We don’t offer stand-alone mulching services.

Pruning Services

Ricci Landscape Management provides a summer pruning service to help maintain and spruce up your landscape. Our technicians will prune hedges, groundcover, and shrubs. We also perform selective hand pruning, shearing, and rejuvenation for plants requiring extra attention. If you have specific requests, our office will be happy to review them with you and communicate them directly to the technicians working with you.

Annual Spring and Fall Color Programs

Seasonal flowers add bright color and curb appeal to your property’s landscape. Ricci’s Landscape Management partners with some of the best nurseries in Northwest Indiana to ensure the flowers we install on your property are healthy and visually appealing.

When you join our Annual Color Program, you can choose from various options, including petunias, geraniums, begonias, mums, and other flowers upon request. Once we receive your selections, we will design a layout customized to your property and prepare your flower beds for installation. An annual flower display from our company will add beauty to your home and make a strong impression on visitors. Please note: Clients are responsible for watering and fertilizing flowers throughout the season.
